The United Communities Volunteer Fire Department values the time and efforts put forth by our membership to deliver quality EMS, Fire and Rescue Service to the citizens of Southern Kent Island and Queen Anne’s County. Over the years, different member benefits have been provided as a way of showing the Department’s appreciation for all our membership does for the organization and the community.
We need volunteers with all kinds of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Besides the men and women who respond to emergencies, other types of volunteers are also required. Fire departments need the services of individuals with experience in business, accounting, law enforcement, mechanics, construction, computers, event planning, and fundraising.
