Monday January 20, 2014, at 03:48 hrs, United Communities VFD was alerted for a dwelling fire in the 1-4 box area.  PM 100 was the first to arrive on location with the structure fully involved.  Chief 10 then arrived and assumed command.  UCVFD assisted station 1 crews, along with other departments from Queen Anne’s County in a defensive attack on the fire.  Units were on the scene for 4 hours.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
